We have a Pearson 42 sailboat and visited Lagoon Cove Marina this summer.  The place is so friendly, full of people.  You'd never think that you are visiting a remote place with a permanent population of 2 to 4 people.

The place has history.  Look at the photo of the workshop at Lagoon Cove Marina.  It's literally says:  "Hey Boaters!  If you need to borrow some tools, help yourself!"  There is an internet workstation (FREE), there is FREE COOKED PRAWNS provided during the daily APPIE POTLUCK and a wonderful BOOK EXCHANGE one for one.

The owner Bill Barber personally greets every visitor and helps with tying up the lines.

My favorite harbor is actually a harbour, Little Harbour Cay in the Berrys, Bahamas.  Unspoiled, beautiful, great people, good food and you never know who's going to be passing through
